They say love makes the world go 'round and that certainly would include the increasingly popular Bucks County Duathlon.
After five years, local multi-sport athletes still have a strong
affection for the event and the word is getting around that this is one
to circle on the race calendar.
Offering a scenic, flat, safe course, the Bucks County Duathlon
produced some record times in its most recent version on Aug. 31 at
Washington Crossing Historic Park.
Nearly 170 enthusiastic runner-biker competitors took part, helping to raise money for WCHP and the Missy Flynn Fund.
A fun time was had by all and a special thank you goes out to all
the participants, the hard-working volunteers, the generous sponsors and
The BCD wouldn't be possible without the combined efforts of all these people.
Located conveniently for those living in Lower Bucks County and the
surrounding Delaware Valley, the duathlon will be a fixture on the
local racing scene for years to come.
Thanks for the love.
